Meet Celeste
Hi I’m Celeste – I founded The Daily Medicine (TDM) in 2018 as a community hub for holistic health and wellness. At TDM, I offer a healing space where modern mental health care meets ancient wisdom traditions. I help people reconnect with their bodies, breath, and inner clarity using yoga therapy, somatic healing tools, and nervous system support practices tailored for recovery, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.
My Approach: Whole-Person Wellness
I believe healing is a daily practice - not something we chase, but something we tend. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, disordered eating, burnout, or simply feeling disconnected from your authenticity, my work is personalized, trauma-informed, and grounded in both science and soul.
Sessions may include:
Yoga therapy (gentle movement, breathwork, meditation)
Somatic tools to build safety in the body and release tension
Journaling, art therapy, self-reflection, and emotional processing
Ayurvedic (aye-er-veh-dic) lifestyle practices for supporting balance and resilience from the inside out
Gratitude for my teachers
The heart of this work is lineage. I bow deeply to the teachers and traditions that have shaped my path.
Michele Loew — I completed my 200-hour and 300-hour teacher trainings with Michele Loew at The Yoga Space in Portland, Oregon in 2014 and 2019 respectively. Her trainings are rooted in Ashtanga vinyasa with a healthy dose of Iyengar-based alignment and supportive restorative practices. These trainings emphasized functional movement, pranayama, meditation, and study of yogic texts like The Yoga Sutras, The Bhagavad Gita, and the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. These trainings also incorporated modern anatomy-based therapeutics by Doug Keller via textbook study and immersive workshops. In 2020, I completed the 100-hour Yoga Nidra training with Michele, which deepened my reverence for rest and inner resourcing.
‘Iolani Grace — I completed two Rite of Passage Immersions in 2016-2017 wherein I was introduced to Mystery School teachings and shamanic-based bodywork in Mullumbimby, Australia. These experiences deeply inform my personal practice and behind-the-scenes spiritual work for myself and the collective.
Katie Silcox — In 2019, I attended the Ayurvedic Wellness Coach program with Shakti School. I learned ayurvedic principles that guide my personalized wellness plans for clients including daily lifestyle recommendations, dietary and herbal recommendations, seasonal living, and feminine wisdom in healing. I am reinforcing this training by completing the coursework again in 2026.
Sarahjoy Marsh — I completed the 800-hour yoga therapy certification at Sarahjoy Marsh’s school, The Institute for Living Yoga. This training incorporated modern neuroscience principles and somatics with ancient yogic and ayurvedic principles to encourage whole-person interventions that support recovery from addiction and subsequent shame cycles, recovery from disordered eating, recovery from burnout, and recovery from trauma.
Luis Mojica — I completed a somatic study course in 2025 to deepen my understanding of the role of subconsciously held memories and information on our conscious experience. I plan to continue reinforcing my connection to somatic processes with continued practice and integration with my therapist and self-practice.
Each of these teachers has poured wisdom into my practice, and I carry their teachings into each session, workshop, and retreat.
